Dr. Ned Henry opened Crescent City Veterinary Hospital with Dr. Cheri Hansen in May, 2003. A native of Norfolk, Va., Dr. Henry has been practicing medicine since 1998, when he administered care as an associate veterinarian at Prytania Veterinary Hospital in New Orleans.
Dr. Henry dreamed of being a veterinarian since he was young. He attended the University of Virginia, where he was awarded a Bachelor's Degree in English in 1992. He went on to attend the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine, and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. Dr. Henry's professional interests include ultrasound and oncology.
Outside of work, Dr. Henry is an accomplished musician. An expert guitar and mandolin player, Dr. Henry has released two albums of original music: "Colorado Air" in 1998 and "The Last Resort" in 2005. When he's not playing music, Dr. Henry can be found surfing, sailing, and mountain biking with his wife, Miriam, their two super groovy kids, Ruffin and Sarah and their yellow Lab, Roxy.
